CREG Participates in the Civil Society Consultation on the World Bank’s New Country Partnership Framework

The World Bank Group will hold a consultation with civil society organizations on its new Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for Senegal on October 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at its headquarters in Almadies, Dakar.

The Regional Consortium for Research in Generational Economy (CREG) will participate in this consultation, which aims to gather civil society recommendations on the priorities of the new partnership framework.

Aligned with Senegal Vision 2050, the CPF seeks to help restore macro-fiscal stability, protect vulnerable populations, improve essential services and infrastructure, and develop job-creating value chains.

Discussions will focus, among other issues, on social protection, access to essential services, employment, and private investment. Participants will also address young people’s and women’s access to economic opportunities, as well as regional disparities, with a view to ensuring inclusive implementation of the CPF that better responds to the needs of poor and vulnerable populations.
