Technical Workshop in Kenya

Professor Latif DRAMANI, President of the Regional Consortium for Generational Economics (CREG), will participate in a technical workshop in Kenya:
“From Time to Public Policy: Rethinking the Design of Social Policies through Invisible Transfers.”
👥 Organized in collaboration with the Population Reference Bureau (PRB) and supported by the Hewlett Foundation, this workshop is part of the Counting Women’s Work project.
It will bring together researchers and public finance specialists to explore how data on unpaid domestic work and intergenerational time transfers can inform the design of social policies.
🔎 The discussions will draw on analytical tools developed by CREG and its partners:
National Transfer Accounts (NTA)
National Time Transfer Accounts (NTTA)
Social Accounting Matrices integrating care work
🤝 In partnership with Bajeti Hub, this meeting will strengthen the dialogue between research and public action to better integrate unpaid care work into economic analysis and social policies.
