Data 2x Time Use

CREG Participates in a Roundtable on Time Use and Macroeconomic Policies
On Thursday, November 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., a virtual meeting will be held focusing on the use of time-use data and its impact on macroeconomic policies. CREG will take part in this event, reaffirming its commitment to advancing gender-responsive economic policy discussions.
The roundtable will be structured around two sessions:
The first will examine the links between time-use data, labor markets, and fiscal policies.
The second will address the integration of unpaid work into “beyond GDP” indicators.
The meeting will bring together academic experts, policymakers, and renowned institutions, including the IMF and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
The discussions will aim to highlight the integration of unpaid work into economic measurement frameworks and its implications for public policies aimed at reducing gender inequalities in labor markets and strengthening women’s economic participation.
